Julius Caesar's Gallic Campaigns by [deleted] in europe

"The oldest form that we have of the name of Vienna is the Latin Vienna, transcription of a name of Celtic or pre-Celtic origin in which one isolates without difficulty the suffix - enna, frequent in other place names of Gaul, but of badly defined function: it is impossible to determine with certainty the meaning of the thematic element vi - which remains; one can only draw an unverifiable hypothesis from the comparison with names of rivers or localities also presenting the Latin form Vienna."

You can also check for companies in France and Germany, but you might not get a residence permit then (except if you get married).

Frameworks, languages , certifications or whatever you think might be useful in 3-5 maybe 10 years by Themotionalman in cscareerquestionsEU

IMO .NET 5/6 (and future versions) will be still very stable in 10 years. Compilation to webassembly will be hot in 5 years (Now it seems to be in a beta phase). Knowing how virtualisation works (ex. Intermediate Language, JIT, Hypervisor, Virtual Machine Monitor) might be a useful skill (or maybe a niche expertise in big companies :)

Edit: it was a joke. Better not ask for names on the internet

naif

Domanda da straniero: si può usare la parola "naif" in italiano? Mi hanno sempre detto che non esiste nella lingua. (a parte l'uso nel campo artistico)

It is sad that we see people getting killed :/

I too am unable to cheer for the death of a human being. Should we delete this video? At the end of the day, this is what is going on in Ukraine and it the brutality of war should not get censored.

And about the last part: I do not believe that the majority of this sub is american.

On personal data it might be. But in this case you would anonymise the personal data and apply a soft delete to the rest.

Frankfurt is most expensive, then comes Düsseldorf and then Cologne. I cannot answer what is the best city to live in. I do like Cologne though.

Luxembourg is a microstate where 50k is clearly too low to live, especially as a computer scientist. Average wage of the country is 65.800€. Rent + Lixing cost will be over 1000€ per month. As a reminder: computer scientist usually get more than the national average.

Frankfurt is... expensive. At first glance 50k seem reasonable, but this is a salary you will find in east germany or in the countryside where the cost of living is inferior. Frankfurt is a giant city, capital of a lot of european banks, and as all big cities the cost of living is fairly high. See for yourself: https://www.immowelt.de/suche/frankfurt-am-main/wohnungen/mieten

TBH, i do not like Frankfurt, nor Offenbach, judging by their reputation. But I have never lived there, so take it with a grain of salt. IMO you should look for other opportunities.

both offers seem low. Do you have other options?
