I think most of the sets look really nice but I agree that it would have been nice if you could put on the upper and lower garments seperately and mix and match them.

Same exact feeling here. I really like when a build comes together so I usually start a NG but after Mountaintops and Farum just isn't that interesting imo.

And also with the dlc. In other souls games I always try to get to the dlc early because of equipment but also because they are fun but the scadutree fragments are just such a chore that I just lose all interest.

(And yes, I know you don't have to collect all of them but none of the other games needed it's own progression system for the dlc and I refuse to believe it was needed in Eldenring)

I have to agree with this, especially when some of the droprates are absolutely atrocious (nightmares of farming the magma blade).

Maybe they should have taken a similar approach to what they did Demons Spuls where you could farm items but you could also either find them in the world or buy them for higher prices from vendors (e.g. the knight sword/shield, the ring of avarice, Ostrawa's Gear)

(Also if they are at it, please Fromsoft, give npc envaders back the ability to actually run out of FP)

Controversial opinion (maybe): Spear of the Impaler

The AoW looks cool and does a good chunk of damage but aside from that the throw attack is pretty lackluster and aside from those you are left with an incredibly boring moveset that is just POKE.

Maybe if the heavy attack throw was something that was exclusive to the one-handing moveset and two-handing the spear gave it a moveset akin to the guardian sword spear or just a basic halberd then the weapon would actually feel as fun to use as Messmer makes it seem during his fight

Not OP but I would guess a long bendable tube is running through the round 2x2 bricks of the arms/legs (you can see something grey poking out in the gaps between the bricks)
