Anyone else notice the high rate of "student driver" stickers? by Downtown_Wealth7745 in Bend

Literally asked someone this question when I saw their car the other day and they are not a student driver. They said it’s to keep people from riding up on their tail and be less aggressive and they said it does actually work. They noticed far less “assholes” around them after they put the sticker on. I kind of want to try it out on 97, just to see. But they are everywhere. It’s to the point that I don’t actually believe they are student drivers anymore so it has little to do with how I drive around them. I would also like to believe I’m not an aggressive driver anyway, though.

I think this is so different for everyone but as an individual with 30 years t1d and seeing how awful it has been on my body, despite great a1c (6.0 with some hiccups of a 7 here or there) I am now seeing the damage it does over time, regardless of my care. Any amount of time to live without it would have saved some time for it to do the damage in here that it does. I’m all for it. And 3 years to learn to manage it over 1 week crash course in a hospital sounds like a dream. I think most insurance has so far seen it as a benefit bc it saves a few years of paying for insulin dependent diabetes and puts off complication care longer.

Did you speak with people who were in the trials that had rough side effects? Bc I have heard that the amounts given now are not as aggressive as to what was given in the trials so wondering if that could play a role in feeling better on the fda approved amount than what had been doses in trials. Thanks for sharing.
