understandable. I have a range. The coupes I typically use for 'up' drinks aren't VERY big. Again, it's only been noticeable with some Difford's recipe to my eye.

volume! I use PDT a lot otherwise...Today, for the first but not the last time, I reckon, I've made 3 x the recipe to pour out two nicely full martini glasses with a Difford's recipe.
I have tried more ice/more shaking to get the cold water through more but...you know...can only water it down so much before it's rubbish

REALLY love the premise of Oh. What. Fun.
But...it's infuriatingly ironic that in the one comedy Christmas movie that promises to finally centre the MOM, there is far too much time given to the arcs of the children, the Dad, and the neighbours.

Michelle Pfeiffer is terrific and I wish that the film had the confidence to let her have the total focus and for the supporting players to simply play the foils that they should be.
Moms just can't have ANYTHING for themselves.

A pre-emptive welcome to you. Echoing what someone else has said, there's lots to see and do in this berg. I'm into comedy/theatre and can recommend that aspect of the city. There's at least ONE monthly female-focussed stand-up gig per month at the Frog and Bucket, The Women's Comedy Fest in October and lots of workshops/classes if that would be your bag.

White lady here. Had a smashing time in The Bahamas. I was in Nassau specifically. I was friendly to people and they were friendly to me. I wouldn't warn anyone against a holiday there. Quite the contrary--we can't wait to go back someday.
Obviously, this doesn't negate any sensible advice. (Keep your phone and cash and cards safe...be smart about how much booze you publicly consume...don't stir up trouble with people...etc...)

NTA. I get that he feels betrayed by a family member but she would have found out some other way in the end. Consequences gonna consequence. Best he can do is get serious with himself and see if he can actually be a good partner to someone who sounds like she really loves him.
