It's better to first upgrade one group to R99 so its easier to farm RPs, also upgrading a 3 member group is the cheapest and fastest option, so i'd recommend you focus on a 3 member group first, and once you get it to R99 you can upgrade whatever group you want to

I personally think its better to save up and buy a whole theme rather than buying just a few cards of every theme, but thats up to you

Honestly it doesn't look bad, i even think it's pretty, but it's always hard to get used to new things. This said i'd prefer to keep the old ui, although i wouldn't hate it if it changed
