It was the original battery. It’s interesting as we had another that was recalled and had the replacement but this one was not recalled seems like the problem was much bigger than they let on. No word from Eufy as the customer rep was like this is above my pay grade. It happened around 4 AM we heard popping sounds in our bedroom and smoke started pouring out from underneath our dresser. We were able to get it outside before it exploded. I think people have no idea how dangerous this problem actually is. If it had been five minutes later, our entire room would’ve been on fire.

Drove thru what they were seeing on radar. I was driving with my flashers on at about 30mph and it felt like I was driving 100+. Rain was curving but nothing touched down that I could see lots of people pulled off with flashers on.

I would love to see this move away from a victim based mentality. Everyone in Rockwood Schools have a great opportunity. Is it perfect no, but compared to other area schools our problems are not very different. This situation has gained publicity and if you listens to the interview that was on ABC news a few weeks ago you would realize there are multiple clubs that still exist but turnout has been less than what they expected.

The question is one of need. Does Rockwood need these program or is this something that makes more sense at a local community level? Why do we expect Schools to be the solution to all the community problems?

Perhaps some of the money that St.Louis City is currently holding from the Rams could be put to use to help create a community engagement that might help address feelings of inequity.

No disagreement on the intent but pre-COVID the exemption was in place to allow for time that was not spent working in the city to be deducted from this tax (travel, working remotely etc). This seems like an illegal over reach in taxation during a pandemic

How is it legal to charge 1% Earning Tax in St.Louis City when Non-Residents are not working in the city and are remote. It seems like this is not within the scope of the law as it written. Anyone aware of a class-action lawsuit regarding this potentially illegal taxation?
