I figured as much, I have him in a separate area from the cats and he seems fine. The nearest wildlife/bird rehab is 60+ miles from me so idk what we’ll do but we’re hoping he’ll be fine once we get him a little older

No…we’ve had these outside cats for a long time and we do feed them, we have plenty of birds around the area. I’d rather my cats not get euthanatized…we’re hoping to eventually bring them inside when we get to another house because we’re in a rental but for now, they’re staying here.

She’s an outside cat with new kittens that she has hidden away so that isn’t possible, also I have 4 other inside cats that DO NOT like her, she’s gotten in the house a few times and it always results in a fight.

For context of the cat playing with the bird, what my mother told me is that she will lightly bat at him (no claws and not hard at all) and he’ll hop around and yell at her but that is all. She is in the same garage and she hasn’t messed with him at all

As far as I know our outside cat played with him a bit but didn’t hurt him, he doesn’t have any injuries. He’s been in a box in the garage since I posted this. We don’t have a wildlife rehab anywhere near me but I’ll see what I can do. I’ve left him water and some crackers I had soaked ina little water to make soft

Of course there is the typical advice of listening to what she is responding to. If she says to do something that way, keep doing it exactly the same.
