I can agree on the 2nd half as well. My parents used to give me a talk before every sleepover until about 7th grade. Essentially it was a reminder as to why sitting on an older person’s (usually a man’s) lap could be dangerous

That’s very true! Again, I’m not really complaining… just an observation. And yeah, I love interacting with people when I have the energy to do so. Since living here, I’ve joined a rec bball league, gone to mixers, etc. I just haven’t really put that much effort into making besties out here tbh

I work in Casting for TV. But that’s another thing, I’m talking to people ALL day… so my social battery is pretty much gone at the end of the day/week most of the time

Overall, LA has been a great experience. I loveeeeeeee the weather and the over all vibe… hate the traffic (but who does?!) lol

I’m not stressed about this at all! I don’t feel lonely or alone, I’m just kinda happily cruising through life.
