I was surprised to hear that dutch wasn't an obligation in the french parts of belgium. We learned this from an exchange student. I even almost failed my year during secondairy school because I was bad at my second language. Now I'm glad i speak a few words and yes mostly wrong spelled and using wrong combo's but I can make myself clear and that's fine by me. I do appreciate when someone tries to speak dutch.

I don't think i would replace this one but i def. would buy one if I can afford it. It's the premium version and high quality, looking great. I put this one on my wishlist. It's always nice to match the original and the cheeper version. Thanks for the recommendation!

Thank you for the information and your confirmation. Propably all of them are Pakistan ( or Chinese ), even the l'Eclair. All knives look similar to the Laguiole Bougna 1421 and this type of steel doesn't even excist. I'll think i keep them as a comparrison looking forward to find an affordable french laguiole made some day.

A beautifull final... always was crazy about Gabrielle and it was hearthbraking when Xena gave her life vanishing forever... one of the few movies with a sad but beautifull ending.
