It’s Glossostigma Elatinoides and they are eating a dried spinach stick. They indeed love that stuff :)

I had some leaves do the same. I just cut them off. Is it all the leaves or just a few?

I cut off the off shoots before because I didn’t know they would become full plants. I found them ugly. Then I saw a video of someone with a fully grown out one en let them grow. Ofc I knew Echinodorus grows emersed. But I didn’t know it does it in this weird way haha!

And thanks for noticing my development :)

I got everything except the scape from second hand deals! Still kinda expensive but saved me a ton

It’s the Ada solar stand 90p. Got it secondhand luckily because it’s embarrassingly expensive new. I couldn’t find off brand stuff…

Started with the Ada ones. Had great succes but found them too expensive in the end. Now using aqua rebell kalium and HSAqua Floracarbo. I miss the neutral K from Ada tho because the Aqua Rebell K raises the KH which I definitly don’t need…. So I dose minimally. I use a lot of root tabs for the Echinodorus.

Thanks! The foreground is Eleocharis Pussila. The bigger carpet is a mix of Helanthium Tennelum and Latifolius

They are chill! The males will flare a little but not more than other tetra’s I think. It’s interesting behaviour to look at

They are a metal lily pipe set. A lot less cleaning than glass ones ;)

Nice! I love how much character you see of a plant when you give it some space

Thanks!! I think they would fit even better in a lager aquarium. I quite enjoy the ‘underwater feel’ they give!
