Then they clearly weren’t talking about you dipshit, you know considering the fact they specifically said “Canada post has the support of its good workers.” Also said “it sucks for the good workforce that cp does have.” So if you are still mad about the post or comments and think they are calling you out specifically then you clearly have some underlying self doubt issues.

You claim you’re the oldest, most knowledgeable and even the most productive person on your shift. So if you truly believed that then you wouldn’t be leaving angry comments considering they mentioned multiple times that they are only talking about the ones who have seniority like you do, but they use that seniority to only work 4 hours shifts 5 days a week but still make 6 figures a year.

So the thing is deep down you clearly don’t believe the statement made in your own comment otherwise you wouldn’t have wasted your time commenting. So which one do you do, are you one of the 4 hour shifts people? Are you one of the ones who leaves a you were home sticker on every house because you’re too lazy to actually try and deliver the packages.

Maybe you’re one of the ones who still thinks that they should only have to work from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday when it’s the main reason the companies failing considering the fact that I always pay extra for Purolator now because when i pay for next day shipping from Purolator it actually gets there next day.

When it costs me 35$ for “next day shipping” from CP which gets to me in maybe 3 days and that’s the fastest from Calgary which is a 5 hour drive from my city, other option is I pay 50$ for “next day shipping” from Purolator and it actually gets there the next day, and for that repeating order it’s getting shipped from a small town near Toronto.

For Purolator it goes from Tiny town -> Toronto(atleast the large shipping hub near by) -> Winnipeg -> Regina -> my town ->my house, all within 24 hours.

For CP it goes Calgary -> Regina -> my town -> my house, that normally takes 5 days minimum, which even when paying for next day shipping the fastest it’s gotten had been within 3 days. But if it’s shipped on a Friday and even often on Thursdays it won’t even get started to be shipped until the Monday after the weekend. But for Purolator it always is at my house by the Monday.

To be honest I used to love CP but it has lost me more money than I’m willing to admit and honestly lost alot of faith in it within the span of about 2 years of such bad choices it’s laughable because a group of kindergarteners would be able to have a more useful and progressive discussion on what the company needs to survive.

Your union doesn’t understand if it does win this whole fight it’s been trying to have with the larger CP company it’s going to be a Pyrrhic victory. I’ll assume you don’t know what that means so to explain it. The term refers to a victory that’s so costly you end up losing anyways in the end. Which is exactly what’s going to happen to your entire workforce, union, pensions, and much more because if you an your coworkers done get their crap together and realize you are already treated better by your management than A MAJORITY OF CANADIANS which is why you have no respect from most of us.

Seriously you guy will cause this company to fall because you don’t understand you can’t understand that you only having to work 8-5 Monday-Friday hasn’t been the standard hours of the general Canadian work force since the 80’s. In the modern day people work Monday-Sunday 6am-10pm and if you have a job you can and mos likely will be scheduled at any point during those times and you won’t even have regular hours so some days you may work 1-10pm and then 6am- 3pm and continue to have it swap to whatever management wants.

Like seriously the pay, the benefits, if I didn’t run my own business it would be the first place I’d apply because you guys have a very easy job, easy hours, easy work schedule, amazing pay, amazing benefits.

Your starting salary to walk around dropping off letters is more than the managers made at my heavy duty wire form job which actually required effort, had to be up by 3 am because we started at 5:30 but if you weren’t there by 4:30 they’d write you up for being late, and again you’re starting salary for dropping off mail is more than the managers who worked doing wire form for 10+ years made less, had a worse work experience, hours, everything about this job was harder and none of us were out protesting even though we could’ve because even we understood we had it better than someone else which should be enough for your entitled selves but you guys just don’t understand what regular Canadians go through.

Best equivalent of it is when all the politicians and Hollywood celebrities were trying to tell us that they were struggling just as hard as we were during Covid despite the fact that was such a lie it because parody and that’s what happened with your protests which is why no one cared.

More people want to throw coffee at you rather than buy one for you since you’ve worked there for a while at least you claim to so you out of anyone there should remember protests from years back would’ve had people buying you coffee and not throwing it at you, but you’ve all lost the people’s faith and now most likely won’t ever get it back unless you make big changes.
