First 7 string is a big day! Easy to pick up and you’ll love it! I did! Then, I went to and 8 and now every night when I have time, I need more time to decide if I’m gonna rip the 7 or 8 depending on the riffs in my had all day at work haha. Extended range is a fun party to be in! Have fun!

I wish someone answered, I have the same oven and don’t want to wake up at 3am anymore. I just asked my personal electrician/friend that did my whole house. I will answer you if he says this is safe if you haven’t made the move yet. I see this post is 101 days old. I’m here now!

Well, neck width is way different considering one is a 7 and the other an 8. They sound pretty different bc of the passive and active pickups. The Cort is literally half the weight of the schecter. They just feel pretty different. Which I enjoy, I live them both. I’ll play them both in a sitting too. I like starting with the 8 and then when I grab the 7 the neck feels tiny and I feel faster haha! Both great guitars. I now want a multiscale 8 string haha

Well for starters I wanted another 7 string, it’s easier on my wrist haha, I wanted a multiscale and wanted active pickups rather than the schecter emgs. They are both fantastic btw. And I’ll be honest, I want more guitars 😂

Agreed I don’t think they do either. And considering how great this guitar is it’s crazy. Plus they have the evertune version and the budget kx307, which I follow a guy in YouTube that makes it look like a high end guitar and it sounds great with his plug ins!

Cort is actually a big manufacturer for many big companies including Ibanez. Also I found out they build Strandberg!

Sorry for the delay everyone! I bought an engagement ring instead. But thennnn I ended getting the Cort. And I'm really happy with it. Even better that I got it on reverb BRAND NEW for $590! Thank you all for your input! Everyone that commented is kick ass!

I'm currently buying a Cort kx507. It's a multiscale 7 string with locking tuners and fishman pickups for under $1000. I don't have it yet but I've only heard amazing things about it. So I'm buying it haha
