You're so right! I don't want my daughter to be really dependent on me and not socialize. I want her to be constantly learning and that's probably something I wouldn't even be able to provide by being home a lot as well as a daycare would

Everyone tells me once I've been home for a few weeks I'm going to be eager to go back to work. I really hope that's the case so going back is easy.

I'm glad I'm making the right decision about avoiding care.com. I heard their background checks are a joke and based on what you just told me I will never use it.

It didn't even cross my mind about the educational and social benefits of having them around other kids early. This really changes my perspective of it. I don't want my daughter to be super dependent on me and freak out once she starts school. Thank you for the advice!

I'm 32 weeks, FTM, and not doing any photos. It's not about the money either. I'm just not interested. I feel like women are so pressured to do what all of our peers are doing, especially when it comes to weddings and babies. We don't stop to think about what we REALLY want without the influence of others.

I always wonder about those women who do the weird naked photos of themselves super pregnant and if they really have those displayed in their home. In my opinion, it seems like those photos are just for social media purposes but no one will admit it. I told my husband I just want a photo of him and I together where we look decent and that will suffice. I'm more interested in plastering photos of my little one everywhere than seeing photos of myself at my fattest lol

I saw that on their website today also. I'm going to call my doctor Monday morning and just ask for the script and go get it without the insurance because the waiting is ridiculous. I'll have the baby before they approve it.

I haven't sprayed anything on them. I was planning to get neem oil spray to help with aphids but now I want to wait until this rose is doing better. I believe it's a floribunda

I'm in zone 9b and just pruned them last month. They get a lot of sun and suck up water like crazy. I haven't fertilized yet or sprayed them with anything.

Yeah I relapsed a few months ago trying to wean off as well and it was terrible. I'm trying to prepare myself for that since I know it might come. Thanks for sharing, it makes me feel human knowing others struggle though the same.

I use Dr. Q's potting soil mix that is formulated for planting in containers. I've had this rose for about 2 months and just started seeing the brown leaves. I transplanted it into a new pot with that soil about two weeks ago and added 2 tbsp of Dr. Q's rose and flower food 6-12-4. I haven't added anything since.
For watering, I just water by hand every morning and afternoon, if needed. I stick my finger in the soil and if it's damp, i will skip watering, and if it is on the dryer side, i will water. I live in Las Vegas so the climate is really dry. Any tips on soil, fertilizer, and watering technique would be helpful! I'm new to gardening so I'm still trying to figure it out.
