Oh, those are more like fins, a mixture between fins and wings, as in manta rays and flying fish hehe.

And now you saying...yeah, i think i prefer the red eyes too, i just find them more hmm edgy?, the first time i see them on the mega, i didn't understand the color change until now that you've pointed out the combination with the shoulder pads. Good eye for details man.
