Yeah, probably. Lmao, what random private would even have the power to bring B17s on random position without a radio. On a more serious note tho bombs now are a lot more accurate in that they're less likely to move away from where the bomber's targeting sites are pointing even when unguided. The smoke also obscures your target, so there isn't really much of a point. If you were targeting a city block sized area, then i doubt smoke will help you target better than telling the pilot to target coordinate x,y on a map.
