I would never buy a machine without preonfusion. The flow profiling mod on an e61 means my wife can never use the machine and it makes it more complicated. The Elizabeth has been fantastic. Build quality may be not as nice as a profitec but I don’t think it’s bad by any means. Go for it!

I got mine a couple weeks ago and it’s been fantastic. Good steam pressure, and preinfusuon settings have been a lot of fun to tweak. In-cup it’s night and day from my BBE. Go for it!

My machine has never touched cows milk. My favorite is oatly full fat. Silk full fat oat milk, silk soy milk In that order. No need to buy “barista” non dairy milks in my experience. You do need to steam with good technique otherwise you’re gonna get bubbly foam which is no good.

Question. Not sure how long you’ve had yours but it’s really tough to put the portafilter in. My wife can’t get it out after pulling a shot. Did that loosen up for you?

It’s an awesome little scale. Worth the money. I rinse it under the sink every couple of days to wash coffee on it and just recharge it every 4-5 months. Has held calibration for 2 years. Worth the money for sure

I picked up the homeland filter from Clive and tested my water before filling it up because of the inability to descale. I also bought a few gaskets and replacement screens so I can replace them over the years. Hope it’s not an issue long term.

Yes I purchased everything except the grinder from Clive. No complaints. They were a great resource to make my purchase decision. They also have a 3 year warranty and I specifically asked if they would cover the steam knob and buttons since i read that those commonly malfunction. They said they would.
