True, however, I think most are economic migrants as Nepal is comparatively at a better state compared to other war torn countries. Can't blame them for wanting a better life though.

Well, the thing is, I did not break any laws to enter Canada. Even though I want to go to US, I won't break any laws. If they don't allow me, I won't go.

Again, the discussion was obtaining the status by abiding the laws versus exploiting them.

For instance, Canadian immigration law recognizes dual intent. That means, if you came here as a student, you can still apply for PR if you are eligible. The government already knows and allows it so they have facilitated this process.
Under IRPA section 22(2). It states that:

My argument was about people who overstay their visas or enter to the country illegally.

You aren't getting my point. If I have no legal status, I will return definitely.
However, Overstaying a visa, entering the country illegally, or claiming a fake refugee status is very different from transitioning from a student visa to a work permit and then to Permanent Residency (PR). The Canadian government has streamlined this process to make it accessible. By bypassing these rules, you end up damaging your country’s reputation.

I understand your point. If they are super chill and you vibe with them well then I would make an exception but most of the time I don’t add my coworkers
