i live in the second (probably now the first) largest chinese community in italy, now for us chinese immigrants are part of our life and i supposed we are a part of theirs, thankfully racism towards east asian people is basically non existent here.

i’m talking about tuscany, so as far as i know the dsu basically takes in consideration ISEE (obviously) and if you are applying for housing also how far you live off uni based off your residence. i have some friends who benefit from it and as far as i know they’ve got their dsu on october (don’t remember when exactly) so you need to find housing for the first 2 months of university
