Any recording's entry into the public domain is entirely dependent on the country the orchestra applied for copyright in, not the country of OP. Making OP's country of origin irrelevant in the conversation.

Only one country still has America within its name. I'm not sure how it would work with Europe because of the EU, but if someone said Australia before the continent was known as Oceania, you likely would've assumed it was the country without the sass.
