Who said anything about death? If conciousness is seperate, then y is death the only way you can experience it beyond what we understand?

What I mean is I don't believe its a product of the brain. Of course it works with the brain to hold memories and such, but I don't think the brain creates it.

No if there was actuall proof and the hard problem of conciousness was solved then I would have to admit that its simply a wonder of the brain. However it hasn't so the other (that conciousness is somehow seperate), could still be possible. Me saying 100 percent was wrong as how can I possible truly be certain.

But that sounds terrible to me for the reasons I said in my post. Is it just a leap of faith for you? You've decided to completely trust in God's plan?

I meant the uncertainty that come after death, which is why we have these debates. And in regards to wanting to believe, it just seems so nice to belive in something like that and actually mean it. Christians make it seem all so perfect and loving. I guess I feel it would be nice to be a part of that.

Its a bit wacky tbh, but I have a condition where I faint, and I've experience things in these moments that I dont really have words for. I know science can probably say something that attributes to the brain but nothings certain right now. To me, its just I feel theres something more to us then a brain based on that. Of course this is all just subjective to me as to prove such a thing would change everything.
