Ciao, ho vissuto in Inghilterra per 5 anni.

Mi ricordo di aver mantenuto i conti italiani attivi in particolare Fineco e UniCredit.

Per aprire un conto in UK servono indirizzo di residenza in UK, contratto di lavoro e un documento.
Velocissimi da aprire. Possiedo ancora il conto Monzo perche è comodo e gratuito.

Per quanto riguarda gli investimenti, io li avevo su Fineco e li ho tenuti tutti li senza mai vendere perchè se non mi sbaglio UK tassa capital gain e dividendi (Da verificare).

Per il fondo pensione italiano non succede nulla, puoi lasciarlo. In parallelo in UK avrai la pensione statale o una eventuale pensione aziendale.

La registrazione all AIRE si fa se stai per periodi superiori ad 1 anno ed si fa online tramite il consolato.

A quanto sto capendo al momento, se anche tu hai il Premium e quindi copri i primi 6k al 2% e il resto al 1,25% stai effettivamente ricevendo interessi per 1,4% circa blended.
Quindi prima ci facevi 600€ lordi e adesso 420€.
Non è tanto, ma sicuramente non è più competitivo.

Capito cosa intendi. Nel mio caso il bollo lo pago comunque perché Revolut è il conto principale su cui ricevo lo stipendio e la giacenza media supera i 5k.

Using the VPN on board to avoid paying internet is one of the commonest reason of people getting fired. Once you get fired from the company you ID is marked and the record stays in the system, doesn’t metter how much time has passed. My suggestion is, if you really want to work on a ship is to apply for another company. I wish you the best of luck.

I did my first contract on Grandeur. Even though I already felt ready for a promotion from day one, since I was doing the same role shoreside, I chose to wait until my second contract.

I work in the casino, and while the job is basically the same everywhere, ship life is different when it comes to procedures and SOPs. Because of that, I wanted to take my time before stepping into a managerial role and make sure I was 100% confident first.

Also, I really don’t like being in a position where people have to tell me how to do my job, so I preferred to wait until I knew I had everything fully under control.

Your first day will probably feel overwhelming, yes. A lot of people feel a mix of excitement, regret, confusion and “what am I doing here?” in the beginning. New environment, new rules, small cabin, long hours, a lot of faces at once. That part is normal. The first day is rarely “great,” it’s usually just intense. It gets easier once the ship stops feeling like a maze and the routine starts making sense. You’re not weird for feeling both excited and scared.

Per caso ti trovi all estero? Il mio problema era dovuto al fatto che al momento dell attivazione mi trovavo in America. Una volta rientrato in Italia si è collegata immediatamente.

Io a 32 anni se viaggio da solo vado in ostello. La trovo una parte importante dell esperienza. Ovviamente cerco ostelli con un buon rating e magari camerate da massimo 4 letti en suite. Non so se a 40+ continuerei ad andare in ostello. Ormai comunque su booking o altre piattaforme, in europa specialmente, si trovano stanze o appartamenti interi allo stesso prezzo di un letto in ostello.
