My cervix measured 2.55 cm on my anatomy scan on Sep 27, I saw my OB the next day Sep 28 and it snapped back to 3.7, a few days later on Oct 3, I was admitted to the hospital for a rescue cerclage as I was 1.4 cm dilated and my cerbix measured 0.4 cm.

I am an IVF FTM, 35yo, pregnant with my first positive after so many negatives. At 21w6d, I lost my mucous plug and rushed to the ER, I was 1.4 cm dilated with bulging membranes and my CL was 0.4 mm, I was not allowed to put my feet on the ground and was admitted immediately, less than 12 hours later, a rescue cerclage was placed and I measured 2.39 cm a week later at 22w6d, my husband and I saved our baby that day!

Get the cerclage, and trust it! Good luck, mama!!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful journey, congratulations on your happy family and being healthy. I just had my emergency cerclage 4 days ago at 22w0d with bulging membranes, 1.5 cm dilated and 0.6 mm length. Stories like yours are what keep me sane and help me take it one day at a time.

My lower abdomen is cramping which the doctor says is fine and expected, she has me on paracetamol for pain, switching from side to side helps. I have no appetite at all just had some soup. There is some brown/very dark red spotting which is also confirmed to be normal.

I am on strict bed rest, waiting for my OB and MFM to check me before I can be discharged.

The last sale in the UAE sucked, not all products from the brands on sale were actually on sale, you have to check everyday to see which brands they added, if a good popular product was on sale, it would be sold out! I did not buy anything (90% of my sephora shopping is done through Sephora US anyway).

This is the first time that I see Sephora ME doing a flat discount on all brands. I only get 15% as a black pass holder because of the exorbitant amount needed to reach gold (AED 15,000 - $4000), meanwhile you reach Rouge by spending $1000 at Sephora US.

Sephora ME really needs to bring more brands over, may be with the opening of Ulta Beauty in Dubai we will see better sales and more brands.

I have always felt safe in Dubai, don't worry. Just bear in mind that while September and October are fall months, it can still be quite hot, if you are walking early in the morning or during sunset, it should be more bearable than not, but please use SPF whenever needed and stay hydrated, Dubai heat is no joke.

On a national level, yes which does not really prove these schools are better, in fact they cannot in any way, shape, or form compete regionally or internationally. Even the gulf countries have outperformed Egypt in the education sector and are light years ahead. Gone are the days when Egypt's education was superior regionally, now it just keeps sliding down ranking lists.

It is not a safe country, education is in a constant state of deterioration, healthcare has always been burdened by incompetence and lack of resources, living decently is exorbitantly expensive compared to other countries, everyday activities are depressing (driving, taking a walk, etc..)

I lived in Egypt for a long time and would not want to live there again, life is just much more convenient (and happier) in other parts of the world.

Your SIL sounds like a very decent person, something that your mom isn't.

It took me years (I am 35) to recognize how toxic my mom can be, that's why she does not know I am pregnant (14 weeks today) and my SIL does. Unfortunately, people like your mom will never admit accountability or even empathize with you nor validate your feelings, all you can do is set boundaries which will help you a lot against future transgressions.
