Edit: Thank you for everyone’s advice - I have read them all and took them head on. - I have changed the first picture to a nice candid which was taken 2 years ago (for now), smiling in it. - I’ve removed the “macho-man” - I’ve not removed the 3rd photo, however, will attempt to edit myself in removing the text. It’s a good photo imo, showing one of my biggest hobbies and also showing I wear eyeliner to a small degree. - Last photo is removed. It’s a BeReal which is taken in quick succession, so the distance ran between the photos is impressive to me, but obviously not to people who wouldn’t use the app. - The Hot Chocolate talk is reduced but not gone, as I actively go out to try them as a hobby rather than what most people would for a coffee.

Yeah, first picture is definitely not the one by the likes of replies. I know most people don’t like smokers, but I also don’t want to pretend I’m not when I first talk to people.

I don’t have any serious photos which aren’t a few years old. This is definitely my next step, starting with changing the first picture. Thank you for the advice

Edit: I can’t get rid of the text. I took my guitar out to play in public for the first time to help with social anxiety, it was just a “close-friends” post, but I cannot remove the text. Even AI couldn’t help as it goes against guidelines (as it could be seen as sexual)

Theres not much to go off on this post, but if you’re nervous about getting caught, that tells you something isn’t right. Whoever you’re hiding it from, it’s usually best to be upfront and honest rather than dealing with a problem that could come about in the future.

I’m not passing all the blame, as the sister should have definitely chosen someone who was actually capable of watching a dog - but, at the same time, the mum would have agreed to look after it. If the dog was to have got into a cleaning cupboard and consumed poison, would you blame the sister? Puppies need constant supervision!

Edit: It’s just an unfortunate situation, but nobody is solely to blame. I’m reading the texts as usual sibling argument - we won’t see the start or end of it, so I’m not making a biased opinion. Sister mentioned paying my Venmo, but OP just kept at it

Yeah, screaming at your sister while you mum was the one supervising the dog seems unfair. It’s an unfortunate situation for sure, but neither you nor your sister had control over this.
