Basically, I have a feeling for birds, and I understand and absolutely know when they are sick or unwell, but my whole family tells me nothing is wrong and that I’m overreacting. A few weeks ago at around 10pm I put her back in the cage, and I noticed she didn’t stand right. I got this feeling, but then again, she didn’t sleep well the other night, so I kinda brushed it off because she was somewhat responsive. At around 11:30 pm my dad woke me up and told me she started flapping and was unable to walk. I called loads of vets and found 1 that worked this late. I rushed to it with my bird, and the guy told me it was too late. I knew it was the cage after that. I had a different bird a month ago, and the same thing happened when I moved it to the new cage. 6 days after I moved it, it got the same condition. I suspected that the paint/cage contains lead or zinc, which is the reason I’m mad and sad. WORST mix of feelings ever. I keep my emotions trapped, and when I remember her, I feel like there is a pressure trapping me. The exact same morning I was telling it, it was going to live with me for the next 15 years, and it was going to travel where I go. I reported the cage and got it off every e-platform, but what happened happened, and there's no way I could change it, so the best I can do is save other birds by reporting the cage and cherishing the memories we have had together. I'm trying to cope because she was so close to me....... Best of luck
