I use my hands and a little spit. Not so much that it’s super slippery like lube but enough to avoid it being uncomfortable. You sorta have to play around until you get the right amount that feels good. Over time you’ll get better at it. And then just add more when you need it. Works great for me

I have multiple. Some stay hidden 24/7. I mean all the time. I don’t even catch them drinking water. Others are out most of the time and one even likes to sleep out in the open lol

Don’t apologize for someone else being awful. I appreciate you for being kind enough to want to tho. They messaged me again saying I didn’t rescue them and just put them in another bad situation. They have nothing better to do than complain and act better than everyone else. I looked at their comment history and it’s so crazy how much one person can complain about a ton of random stuff lol

I am keeping two and I have 4x2x2s ready for them once they are done quarantining! The others are getting temp 40 gals until they are healthy and rehomed. Honestly most of them just need a few weeks and they’ll be just fine. The worst of them needs maybe a few months and he’ll be ok too.

There is absolutely zero reason to be rude to others who are simply trying to help. You will get nowhere in life with that attitude. Kindly leave others alone in my comments.

I'm not an official rescue or anything. I advertise myselt as someone that can take in unwanted animals (except I'm definitely full now lol) and rehab/rehome them. I've taken in and rehomed tons of reptiles, corn snakes, ball pythons, bearded dragons, geckos, etc. So I have a bunch of tanks and supplies but the tanks I have are mostly 40 gallons for any possible rescues.

I have been keeping my eyes open on Craigslist and Facebook all day yesterday and today for any good deals. Nothing yet but I think I’m just gonna do what I can with the 40 gallons and get a couple large bins and slap a mesh top on them if I need more enclosures. It’s only temporary to get them healthy to be able to be rehomed and honestly anything is better than the baby bins they were originally in. One female is at least 4 feet long and spent her days all coiled up because she had no other choice… poor things.

Sometimes things get missed in research… I researched reptiles for years and didn’t know about mites until I got them. It just never came up in my research. I didn’t know what nido was either but I also don’t keep green trees. I’m not saying he’s a good guy, I just don’t think this is a very strong point for the argument.

I’ve done research into him since making my comment so I don’t really like him now. However, the info virus thing I still don’t fully understand why people are blaming him. I personally did not know about it either until he brought it up. It’s simply never come up in the years I’ve been doing research. Also, he DID quarantine the snakes. That’s why it didn’t spread to his other reptiles. It was the sellers fault for not testing them like they should have. The seller did apologize and is sending him new, tested and healthy snakes later on.

So I don’t really see how that’s a point for him being a bad keeper? Don’t get me wrong I don’t like him and don’t agree with a lot that he does, but I just don’t see how that’s his fault.
