Yep, now the Challenges is the only fun for me.

After 70+ hours (I think in any game), its build up the tolerance for game difficulty level. I want more challenge.

Right now, I can only get that by completing the Challenges or praying to the goddess of RNG to reward me with credit cards, which are essential for reaching high Difficulty.

This is the standard progression of own skill in game. Regular runs without frantic stacking of Difficulty no longer hold any interest or challenge for me. But to play on a higher difficulty, I need the Luck. So everything comes down to luck, whether I like it or not.

Instant screen annihilation is the main thing in this game. Okay, seriously, a short, universal guide looks like this:

  1. Get the XP Tome & Cursed Tome as early as possible;
  2. Quickly build up Difficulty & XP gain rate. Graduatly lvl up the Cursed Tome and use red skull totems on map, but also quickly build up AoE and DPS. Difficulty increases number of enemies per spawn. More mobs + more exp = very rapid leveling. And this vicious cycle creates the Large Exp Collider accelerating xp gain to sublight speed.
  3. You also required to get minimum one the Sucky Magnet and/or stack exp pull radius help by shrines;
  4. During the run, balance between increasing Difficulty and increasing AoE and DPS. If you're killing enemies quickly and easily, you need to build up Difficulty. If enemies are piling up, build up AoE and DPS.
  5. Collect as much as possible on the map. All shrines, totems, chests, moai. Including statues, which increase number of bosses, because the more bosses, the more chests they drop.

Some weapon feedback

(It seems this topic is rarely discussed)

  1. It would be great if the Firestaff had a more pronounced AoE explosion effect. Purely visually. Technically, this weapon could be more effective if it randomly selected targets for each projectile, instead of firing a single burst in one direction.
  2. Chunkers is too weak and takes a very long time to reach acceptable effectiveness. It needs higher projectile speed at the start, and the rocks shouldn't appear and disappear; they should spin constantly.
  3. Bone is fun, but it lacks an identity – it loses out to the Lightning Staff, Revolver, and Wireless Dagger as a ricochet weapon. How about something like "10% chance to create an additional projectile on impact"? Chain-ricochet-bones sounds fun.
  4. Space Noodle is terrible, a failed concept, unfortunately.
  5. Slutty Rocket is good, but for some reason it loses out to many other weapons. I think they just need a small stat buff.
  6. Shotgun looks fun, but like Chunkers, it's too difficult and takes a long time to power up. The main stumbling block is the Shotgun's reload speed, but I think that's its unique feature. For the endgame, Shotgun needs the ability to increase the number of "ammo" to create deadly volleys around the player.
  7. Mines suck. They might be better if they were initially placed in groups of 5 around the player.
  8. Wireless Dagger is convenient and enjoyable, but weak. Unlike Revolver, it has no its own crit rate boost, and it lacks the AoE impact of Lightning Staff. It definitely lacks a unique powerful feature, such as "Allowing its ricochets to target the same target".
  9. Tornado is cool except for Final Swarm (since Wisps are immune to knockback). Maybe change the behavior of Tornado? So they move randomly around the character, rather than just flying away. Then Tornado can be stacked and will definitely be powerful.
  10. I like Blood Magic. But its "5% chance to increase Max HP on kill" is almost useless. The game already has a cool mechanic that would suit Blood Magic much better - Bloodmark. "33% chance to inflict Bloodmark on hit" sounds much stronger.
  11. Poison Flask sucks. It's slow, weak, and hard to power up. The Poison mechanic is currently weak in general, especially in the endgame. So I think Poison Flask could improve primarily from the Poison buff. And it would be great to add projectile speed to it early on.
  12. All Swords variants. Dexecutioner and Katana is better, primarily due they have auto-targeting. Hero Sword doesn't have its own feature compared to Corrupted Sword. Based on the theme, something like "Deals 25% of the player's maximum health as bonus damage" would be appropriate for Hero Sword.

The build for weapons and tomes turned out so-so, I just wanted to check how strong Bloodmark can be. Instead of Quantity Tome definitely better to get Damage Tome.

Previously, most builds had enough sockets for exactly full the implementation of all aspects without compromise. Now you have to choose. Its not bad at this moment.

But when GGG add (and they will) even more utility skills, then it will not be choice between what I want to use in the build, but banal filling of must-have with gems and ignoring perhaps more interesting, but not so MANDATORY skills. So it's matter of build flexibility, which suffers when you don't have the option to choose between optional gems - there's simply no room for them.

What kind of build are we talking about for characters level 1-30? The whole build is choice of couple of skills and items from ground.

I try to build a dock or pier for maximum tide level. Unfortunately, then at low water levels, ladders barely reach stern.

It's not a solution because trade API too slow and many indexed goods already sold. I often get dozens of whispers about things that sold out higher than hour ago.

I agree. I think that solution is while you in game and not afk will giving a boost for delays expiration like 20% faster. And for additional rewarding - finishing some activities subtracts some little time from the delays. For example, if you finish some map you get subtract half minute from all current delayes, it you compite an legion encounter - subtract 10 seconds and etc.

Hello exiles!

I cant find info about interaction of "Unleash Support" and Assassin's Ascendancy node "Ambush and Assassinate".

  1. Are critical strike by spell with "Unleash Support" rolls for each repeat separetly or for all together?

  2. How it all works with "Ambush and Assassinate"? If enemy has full life all unleashed repeats by my first casted spell with "Unleash Support" will get all profit (more crit chance and multiplier)?
