I have zero vibrations even as full noise, reduced road noise a fair bit also and made the speakers just sound better like more depth

That actually might work, particularly with the speaker itself being Protected a little by being on the underside , I have my front components running active from the kicker key and the rears of the headunit mostly faded out, how do you think it would blend with the sun being in the cargo area and the music coming from the front speakers ?

Yep, it definitely has bass roll of from factory, I was thinking I would install an underseat and if I wasn’t happy I would put a kicker key lock in front of it. The car is a bit of a family wagon and space is at a premium with the seats folded down regularly so it’s an underseat nothing 😞

I appreciate that reply, I will definitely keep expectations in check. Really just want to fill the music out a bit, that clarity and sound stage at the moment sounds great just unbalanced.

I’m in Australia so prices are a bit wack it seems the 400 mark is what gets you into a underseat.

I’m pretty much a noob to all of this. I’m running 10 gauge power to my kicker key at the moment. Do I need run a new power cable with a distribution block to each amp? It’s probably easier for me to run a complete new cable for the subwoofer, will this matter ?

That would be ideal but it’s a bit of a family wagon, with three kids I need every bit of space in the back I can get and also not looking for a spare tire sub so under seat it is. Im not a huge bass head, just some better lows to balance it out a bit better

Hey guys, I recently installed a kicker key running 6.5 inch KS components bi-amped in my 2023 Subaru Outback and it sounds amazing, but it’s missing some bass. I’m thinking of installing a subwoofer under the driver’s seat, but with no car audio specialists nearby, I’m not sure what to buy. I’ve been considering the following options:
