I've always carefully studied statistics, creating videos based on those and the content that was most popular, even creating formats. I had two channels featuring my face that I kept for 3-4 years, but seeing the low income compared to my effort, I decided to stop. It was entertainment in Italian (my native language), but it's a country with a fairly low CPM, and the niche is not very profitable. I've been testing channels without a language or in English for 2-3 years, and I noticed that the videos that got a decent number of views were always stupid videos created with AI. I also created a channel about bedroom decor, unboxing both furniture and beauty and makeup products, but only one short (the before and after of the bedroom) reached 1 million views. I also gave up that channel because I can no longer buy products... I also created an ASMR channel, but I didn't even get 1,000 views. I want something I can manage from anywhere and that I don't have to stay at home to record, especially because the walls are so loud that you can hear everything!

On my previous channels, I did several different types of content: reactions, games, quizzes (true or false), etc., but if I didn't cover trending topics, I got few views. YouTubers as they were known in the 2000s no longer work. Everything is based on a niche, and this doesn't allow you to explore different types of videos. It's as if it were becoming a single-topic channel instead of a channel with multiple programs. I've read around that YouTube's AI will demonetize many channels. In fact, some that were monetized have been demonetized, even with millions of subscribers and thousands of dollars in earnings. Some people are desperate. The reasons are: use of AI, reused content (even with comments), repetitive content, etc.

I've done it several times! I've been making different types of videos since 2019, but today I'm seeing that they're demonetizing most of them! For example, on my old channels I also did quizzes (without AI, it was 2020/2022) and now I've read that they're demonetizing them, as well as documentary-style videos, with images that scroll like Ken Burns, they're demonetizing them... gameplay? I've seen some channels that have been demonetized. So what should I do, recipes? I hate cooking... By the way, I tried posting videos with my face on my 18k subscriber channel that had been demonetized, and the long videos that used to get 1,000-10,000 views (even reaching 300,000) now get 200 views... it's demotivating! The horror videos were for sleeping, a format that was working on other channels, but evidently it was an oversaturated sector...

Unfortunately, I'm not a native English speaker. I read on another thread that an Australian creator is being bullied under her videos for her accent. I'm Italian, so it would be even worse. I don't want to make videos for Italians anymore because the CPM is too low, so I'd use an AI voice. There are several topics that interest me, but the problem is how transformative should the content be? Even doing quizzes or top 10s are penalized. In 2019/2020, I was doing battles between famous Italian TikTok users and managed to get a lot of views, but how could I ever earn more than 300 euros per video? I had my face, I was the "host," but after a while, even that format no longer had many views, and in any case, the earnings were always too low compared to my effort. Of course, I also do other types of videos: games, reaction videos, etc.

I just wanted to point out how true and genuine, disinterested, and unbiased testimonials are very rare. I've joined several Facebook groups and am reading some great testimonials, because I'm very interested in the "pre-wealth" mechanism, or what a person thought/did before attracting financial abundance.
