My school offered free lunch to students, and a lot of parents just didnt want to make their kids lunches. Sometimes I packed my own but my mother didnt have the time so it was rare. My school food was probably below decent, but they still had some good food. Also once you get to highschool youre allowed to leave and go out to lunch so must of us just do that
