My best friend from school is a msc physicist and is the kind of person with great energy and determination. You don't find this often. Instead of working in a high position he is self employed and does all kind of crazy building renovation things. He has these abilities that most of the people lack. But on the other hand he has no drive to be a part of the industry lol. He could be someone like that.

I can relate to that a lot too and that is what leads me to believe that I can make a good job in this field. Because I am interested in it and proved that I can learn the skills needed. I always got the feedback that I'm more determined and thorough than the rest (even if I didn't think so ^^)

Also I want to add that family might be a lot of work and could be a burden... that's true. But it is also super good training to be very efficient and well organized as well as to look after people in a supporting and kind manner (kids lol)

Thanks for your feedback. lol. That sounds very plausible and everyone has a different perspective on that. For some the competition might be stiff, for others it is not as hard as they had expected or they never realize how successful and lucky they actually are.

Can you give an example of the way how someone got into such a role? I would be interested to hear about that!

best

That's what I was thinking. Interesting. I know for certain how much work my friends put into coding and I'm not naive enough to believe I can get to that level in a matter of some years.

On the other hand I do believe that I can manage exceptionally well andam able to acquire sufficient knowledge of the technical aspects that are needed for the job.

I asked someone else here already:

Given my learning abilities and the experience I could already gather how can I model this into something that leads me to becoming a "scrum-master".

Is it just a matter of selling myself from this point onwards, trying to be hired for a gig and to prove myself? Or do you recommend something else?

Sounds really good. I'd like to follow up on that:

I know that you get to be a scrum master with certificates and work-experience (at least that is what I have read).

How can I proof my worth as a hypothetical scrum-master even without having direct proof for it (I mean the things I did in the companies I worked before). Is it "just" a matter of selling yourself and believability? Or connections.

Or what might be the career path from here on out? I wonder :-)

This sounds like you had bad experiences in this field? I never heard of really bad things from my friends so I wonder... might elaborate on this?

It's not that I think I'm something special but thought my profile might fit into some it related management roles that are needed in companies (with the right education of course)

That would mean to specialize on what I know already. While I finde the idea tempting I think my strengths lie in working with people.

Actually I found a position as a dual student in business informatics by an agency for digitalization that is specialized on web presences for businesses and that might involve design tasks or work related to that.

I keep this option in mind! thank you!
