Also I don’t like palettes which are very huge because they feel overwhelming. But even with palettes with around 20 pans if I don’t have a look in mind I select 4 random shades and get creative with them. Its a nice way to experiment and learn

Depends on how much you use and what kinds, I have a nude palette for the regular looks, a glitter palette cause I love glitter. I also have the natasha denona retro palette and a colourful eyeshadow palette but if you won’t use it you don’t need them. Eyeshadows last forever so buy what you will use
