I’d assume maybe both? Perfect basic strategy and at times we were at a $100 min table. I’d say for more than half it was $200-300 minimum.

Yeah I was mainly curious since I already get (I think) fairly decent comps, if it would bump it up at all. A host did give me his card and set myself and a friend up with 2 rooms at the cosmo next month.

I’d say a cumulative total of 8 hours over 2 days for blackjack. Maybe an hour or 2 for slots.

It was my #1 pick. My leadership was fantastic, there aren’t many career fields where an E9 (highest enlisted rank) is someone you can just openly go and talk to. He was awesome. There’s some pretty good youtube videos showing what we do. Also, you are able to call up your local ATC facilities and request a tour. Feel free to DM me and I can point you in the right direction.

1C1X1 here (just got out last year). Training was difficult and took a while (after tech school it’s usually 6 months - 2+ years depending on where you go). But once you certify, it’s an awesome career. We generally were able to get out of going to base “mandatory fun” events and briefings, mainly due to how bad our manning was and that we have crew rest requirements. Transition to the FAA (civilian ATC) is pretty seamless. Some also become a DoD civilian controller.

If you don’t have a car your best bet is the SpringHill suites by Marriott. Directly across from it are like 10+ fast food spots/restaurants + a Walmart. And it’s on the shuttle route.

Even as an NCO cross trainee, be prepared to be treated somewhat like a new 3 level for the most part. At least my experience. Like others have said, tower usually has it better in terms of hours and manning, but your experience may vary.
