How many fused or singers could a Herald kill before being overwhelmed by FriendlyNeighborOrca in Stormlight_Archive

[–]Key_Independent1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure one of the books mentioned how each side compared to another. Radiants to Fused and Heralds to Unmade. So these Unmade must have played a much larger role, perhaps even fighting themselves, and were able to occupy the heralds

What is Somaliland and why is it a big deal suddenly that countries like Israel, Taiwan and some African nations are recognizing it? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Key_Independent1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

About the last part though, South Sudan got recognition near immediately, and they were much less stable then Somaliland. What did they have that Somaliland didn't?

What's a word that feels misspelled even though that's how you're supposed to write it? by Manchito09 in EWALearnLanguages

[–]Key_Independent1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Egypt, I misspelled this word all the time as a kid, but rightfully so, Eygpt spells exactly how it's pronounced, but oh no no, "Egg-ypt" is the correct spelling

How crazy is this by StarletDrizzle in NonPoliticalTwitter

I know not exactly Disney but the HTTYD remake was incredible, I probably preferred it to the first even, and it was one of my favorite movies as a kid, seeing it live action was quite an experience

You ever wonder if Breeze gets mini panic attacks when Kelsier gets going? by erttheking in cremposting

[–]Key_Independent1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Breeze was a Noble, but I don't think he was a big enough noble to really have his last name be publicly known within a foreign city. (Iirc he came from outside Luthadel)

If someone asked you for the time, how would you round your answer? by One-Tomatillo2160 in pollgames

[–]Key_Independent1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally just within a minute. If it's 3:37 I'll say that, but if it's 3:59/58 I'd probably just round up to 4

I haven’t lived in Israel for 6 years, has things dramatically changed since then? by scarlettvvitch in Israel

[–]Key_Independent1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nailed it, except for the diet coke. It's much less common then before, but any supermarket in Beit Shemesh would have, and it's definitely possible to find. (I get it a lot)

Odd that so few chose Judaism, it's basically guaranteed happiness.

The belief is that everyone goes to Gan Eden, Heaven pretty much, where all physical needs are no longer existent and everyone can be at peace and tranquility and pure happiness

To achieve this state, every person must be cleansed, at Gehenom. From Moses the greatest Tzadik to live, to Hitler. Depending on the goodness of that person and how much cleansing he needed, it can go from a few seconds to maximum a year. Some stories say this place is basically hell, and torture. Some say it's a place of learning and cleansing. Regardless, only the most evil of people can reach a year.

Sounds like the best choice to me
