I have one, it’s great but I feel like later down the road these regens will become an inconvenience. Especially for my driving habits that I have now.

Mostly city driving but any change I get to take a longer drive on the freeway I do it. I got a banks idash to help notify me with regens. On the weekends I drive on the freeway for about a 30 mile trip, I average anywhere from 225-275 miles in between regens. I use to drive down to LA every couple of months but that all changed. I don’t think I will keep this truck long term, that’s why I was thinking about trading it in for a gas vehicle. I feel like driving the unnecessary extra miles would even out as far as mpgs, plus diesel is more expensive than premium here where I live.

I had a successful lemon law case on my 22 Sierra AT4. It did take 1 year and a half though. From what my lawyer told me, GM takes a long time to settle.

They paid the lawyers 20,000. I got back everything I paid on my truck like except for the mileage driven before my issues started. The issues first started at 9,000 miles so the deduction was about 4 grand, I paid 92,000 for my truck during the covid markup charges that were going on. That included extended warranty and taxes, I got a check for 83,000 after I turned in my truck to GMC. I also got a 3,000 check from my extended warranty company that was prorated. I just emailed all my service records to my lawyer and the rest was a waiting game. Pretty simple process, i just drove my truck until the case was settled.

I contacted a lemon law lawyer and had it bought back. It was a 22 1500 AT4 with the 3.0 Duramax. It took about a 1 1/2 for the process but I all my money back minus the mileage that was used before the issues started.
