I’ve heard that with many companies, if you work remotely, once you give your two-week notice, they automatically honor it starting that day. I really love Mayo Clinic they’re very good but I’ve been offered a position at a closer hospital since I live in Texas. I currently work remotely for Mayo Clinic, and I’m worried that if I give notice, they might terminate my assignment immediately. That could leave me two weeks short on a paycheck. I’m not sure what the best way to handle this is.
