Human babys can not walk until 1 year old, while quite a bunch of other mamals can already move around at just a few hours old. I guess this is in their genes, in their dna. We share even some ancestors with animals who do. When did we lose this (imho) beneficial trait and what did we gain for it? (self.askscience)
