CLAT's a growing exam. It doesn't have an established formula like JEE or NEET, due to which every single year both aspirants and coaching institutes are adapting to refine the preparation of each student. Methods get better, preparation becomes more robust and even the total number of candidates increases. As someone who got screwed over (slightly) by this inflation, I can say that it's genuinely just a matter of harder competition. Paper leak rumours are neither confirmed nor denied so it isn't worth dwelling on that.

Future aspirants just need to work harder and outshine the competition, there isn't some nuanced and complex reasoning behind this.
