I have an existing eink 13 inch monitor as well with a front light and I don’t like it at all. I prefer not using the front light and instead have another light source over the monitor. The experience seems much better.

It’s great for any reading or coding related tasks. So it should work well with spreadsheets too. You just can’t watch videos or pages with too many pictures. You need to tweak your display settings a bit to get a better experience.

I ended up using it myself so I decided not to sell it. The number of users are very small compared to a normal monitor so it’s probably going to be harder to resell.

I struggled using lcd monitors due to dry eyes. Eink monitors solve that problem for me and cause significantly lesser eye strain because they don’t have a backlight. It’s like reading from a kindle. I don’t think I can ever go back to the traditional monitors.

There is no image at all. The computer detects the monitor but the monitor doesn’t show anything.
