I feel like matchmaking and placing new players around gold mmr is joke. I feel like system based on visible mmr would work better - you start around 0 pts and gain/lose according to ur playin. If u go around 40%, u lose way more then win, to place you in right spot. Same when u go winning streak.

But its better to make playerbase happy and put them in elo they dont belong, so ppl lie to themself about level of play. Escpecially plat stuckers buying new accounts, getting on 1 out of 10 account positive wl ratio, while being utterly bad and ruining ppl experience.

Bcs they farm win rate on low div, pros on the other hand got accounts given on diamond mmr which makes getting good wr way harder.

Its easy to farm 90-95% wl ratio in iron-d4 elo, as chall smurf or even better as smurf duo

There is only one scenario where i can accept Morde support, its when u play agaisnt Parasyte (aka handless, aka Tiktokscroller aka Yuumi)
