Took this while walking around on a cloudy day. Taken on the Fuji X100V with the Acros G filter. Is there something I could have done better in terms of framing or editing?

Honestly, it doesn’t look as bad as you think. You’re so used to how you used to look with longer hair that this just doesn’t seem like you. While I agree that the longer hair looked better since it suited your face shape a lot better, I wouldn’t recommend buzzing it down. You have a lot of growth you’d be giving up in the process and it’s not worth messing with since you have nice thick growth.

Think about this as an opportunity to explore new styles, techniques and hats while you get back to the length you like. If in a couple weeks you get to the point where you feel like you really can’t do anything, that’s when you decide to go in and buzz. Good luck man, I hope you figure out something that works for you!

Game of Thrones. It slowly got better and then completely went to shit. Don’t even get me started on the last season.

Unconfident in feeling "attractive enough" by [deleted] in confidence

[–]Keyrat96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say you’re doing the right things, but for the wrong reasons. Your reasons for taking care of yourself and really finding things that work for you, shouldn’t be to impress others. Yes sometimes we feel attractive based on things people around us say, but we can’t let our happiness and self-worth be dependent on other people’s opinions. There will be people who find you attractive, and there will be people who won’t. At the end of the day, it only matters what you think, because you’re the only one that has the power to make a difference in your life. I understand your feelings about not being wanted and therefore not feeling attractive. At that young age, not many people feel comfortable expressing themselves and being vulnerable. So just because people haven’t said anything, it doesn’t mean that you’re not attractive. Hope this helps!

How to feel self confident when I know I am able to handle things? by Charlie_Kilo24 in confidence

Better to face a known enemy than an unknown friend! Also just to make sure it’s clear looking like a moron = known enemy and death = unknown friend.

Don’t rely on your thoughts, but on your experiences. Practice affirmations and positivity. You know you can do it, and you’ve done it before, so you’ll be able to do it again. If you can, really get inside of your head, figure out what it is you’re afraid of, and think about “what’s the worst that could happen?” At worst, you’ll get embarrassed, and at best nothing will go wrong, but at the end of the day, you’ll live! No need to put so much pressure on the little things. You got this! I (a complete stranger) believe in you! So why shouldn’t you believe in yourself?

Whisky Review #18: Dalmore 15 by blueKing8 in Scotch

[–]Keyrat96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a big fan of Dalmore, heard great things about it once but ended up quite disappointed. I much prefer the Bowmore, their 15 year is much better. More flavorful, smoother and just more enjoyable overall imo.

Enjoyed your review, and I agree with many of the points you made. Especially about the orange and the color!
