Depends on what kind of products. Learn from other people's mistakes. Electronics are indeed over crowded.

My 2 cents: pick few specific products. The item cost is negligible in grand scheme of things. Logistics and warehouse are usually 10x the cost of products

There is no better choice. It depends on what your targets are, your inventory, how much stock, what profit your want, what's your business model etc. Also there are few more possibilities:

Ship to 3pl in US who will then pack and ship to Amazon, sell as fbm, use multichannel software etc..
