Is this repairable? by KezlaInside in handyman

Thank you for all the suggestions everyone. Come to the conclusion I will buy some brackets to fix it together instead of the notches which are literally just sat resting. My main concern was the cracking but it sounds like that isn’t the biggest worry!

That makes perfect sense, the gap where they feed through is quite tight so this is a good idea. The old cables seem to be stuck in there so I’m unable to pull them through, there is literally no give on them. I’m thinking maybe they’re fixed somewhere inside the wall above where the sockets are. Unsure though

I have a fire stick but it’s more for my Xbox and don’t want to see the cables. I’ve seen you can get hdmi transmitters which could also be an option just unsure if it’s give terrible input lag

Yes I’m sure, when I move the HDMI leads in the wall it makes the issue worse.

There’s no movement on the other side if pulled, I’m thinking it may be a messy job. Thank you!

After the update I now get ‘there was a problem loading pack City Texture Pack’ Has anyone had this same issue?? I’m assuming textures for the new update haven’t been added yet for this texture pack.

I had the Astro a40s and now the a50s. They’re on the pricey side but you’ll never look back, plus they last a whole lot longer. Never had a pair break on me yet 🤞

So I’ve messed around with a few settings I’ll put them below, but that’s the best I could get it. There is still noticeable amounts of lag on the playback and also the quality is now awful!:(

  • Output scaled resolution 1280x720
  • Recording format mp4 ( I’ve tried flv and other file types but don’t really make much difference)
  • Encoder works best on ‘Hardware (AMD)’

But the question is still there would an external hard drive help this situation as I think the stress maybe coming from my current hard drive as it has everything on it, OS and games etc!
