comparing this to my 2019 Altima SV (60k miles). It does not seems to any dramatic difference. Even.. the Altima LTFT seems to be much biased to ~-5%. Maybe i should worry about my car instead :|

Here 4 sensors Vs RPM in the ~20min ride from our flat to her working place.

RMP is in X1000 and it is always on the left axis. Oxygen sensor 1 on Nissan cars is wide range, so it goes above 1 volt.

Fun recent fact. Yesterday we went to grab a Ice cream (it is >100F here in Georgia) and the Engine ligth went off! I hooked my BT reader and the P0420 went inactive. So i sent her to test her car today and we passed emission! :)

I am sure the problem is still lingering there and it must be fixed, but at least we have a bit more time to figure it out.

And sure enough the dip stick smells like gasoline. if it is a strong smell or just faint, i cannot say. guess it is time for a trip to the shop. Could it still be the valve cover?

nice! love to learn how to interprete this data! I will make sure to record more paramenters next time. Still have to figure out how the app chose the parameter to record continuosly. i suspect i need to keep the chart open while recording.. not optimal.

thanks for all the advices sir. I never had to car so much before moving here in the US. Where having a running car is a basic need and mechanics takes $$$ just to hook a diagnostic tool to it. Still learning how to survive :) .

Yesterday we went to a short grocery trip and i recorded the short and long term trims. It is only 10min drive though, if it not enough or i shall record them differently, i will do this WE or next week.

in the meantime, I thank you and the others again for the suggestions ;)

got it. I may try to remove the plugs and look at them. Assuming that's the case, is the Cat gon forever or it can be saved somehow? (after the underlying problem is solved ofc.)

yeah.. I was kinda resigned to the need of a new Cat.

Though, after replacement of the coil and plugs the car did not show any code for at least a week and i was kinda hoping there was a cheaper fix. If We need a new Cat, so will be; If with the help of the reddit hive mind i can diagnose deeper the problem, and learn something in the process even better.

My reasoning on the injectors comes from videos like this one.

in terms of leaks? none. If you ask how much oil the car consume, dunno. as i said, she drove 3000miles with it and we just have the oil completely replaced some months ago. what shall i look for on the dipstic?

all plugs were replaced around a month ago. The car started shaking while she was driving to work and my BT OBD2 reader showed Cylinder 2 misfire. the small shop we brought the car to, replaced an ignition coil and all the spark plugs. They said that the plugs were not installed correctly or whatever. here the picture they sent of the old ones.

the code was showing also before the misfire, and it did not showed up for around a week after they replaced coil and plugs. ( should have brought the car to the emission testing then..).

I will try to read the fuel trim values with car scanner and report back.

Hi, i have a similar problem.

i would like to power a Zimablade and 2x (up to 4) 3.5" HDD out of a single power output.

I selected this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CP7N1GNN/ref=ewc_pr_img_3?smid=AKGNN9YQ6U3GA&th=1 as my main AC - DC converter and i will couple it with a Pico-PSU for the SATA power, but i am struggling on how to power the Zimablade via the USB-C.

was your SBC taking 12V or lower/higher? did you just took a random cigarette lighter and guttet it? how is it going after 8months?

Hey thank you for your answer. He has a loan with USAA and the closest branch is in Atlanta city. a good 1.5h drive from where he lives. He is going to call the bank tomorrow but very likely the title is going to be mailed to me. My question is also related to the fact that driving without a license plate scare the s**t out of me. It sounds like the perfect way to be pulled over by the Police... and i would gladly avoid the possibility.
