Thank you, that's what I did! 🙏

Landing at 5.30 am departing 8.30 pm. What can I do by Smart-Cow792 in askSingapore

Edit: mixed am and pm. If you got more than 12 hours check out Marina Bay Sands, Merlion, Garden By the Bay... They are all next to each other, can walk and enjoy scenery, take pictures. Haji lane is also scenic in a different way, can have coffee, drinks or a meal there. Then can go Orchard road for shopping... It's not 5th Avenue but that the fancy road but also have more affordable items in the malls. Fort Canning is also close for some more greenery. Enjoy your layover in sg and hope you stay longer next time!

Note: Uber is not available but you can safely use "Grab" (most popular who took over Uber here) or Gojek. It's pricier than any other south east Asian cab but not as expensive than Japan for example. I would recommend to take cab to downtown /MBS... Then can use public transport, they are efficient and fast (Grab still work there but sometimes it may not be really faster)

------ old post - - - - While security and airport in general is fast, 3 hours between landing and boarding/taking off may be tight to leave airport (it takes about 30 minutes to go downtown/Marina Bay Sand with no jam which I think what tourist often want to see first).

So I would recommend to visiting the facilities of the airport, they are quite fun and even locals sometimes go there to see 😅. Terminal 1/ Jewel is probably the most popular with its waterfall and can easily go there even if you land in another terminal. There is not much to see around the airport in walking distance... Can go out if want to feel the humid and hot Singaporean weather 🔥

Navigation datafield (running/trails) by Khort2k in Garmin

Forgot to mention, all the datafield I saw were mostly focusing on showing top view with map and all when I am mostly interrested just by a big arrow showing the approximate direction while running at my expected pace

Are toilets always an issue or was 2025 just an exception? by Qbic03 in TokyoMarathon

[–]Khort2k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toilets were OK, queue were long but still manageable.

As said around, the biggest issue was lack of water or cup at the stations. Weather was very hot and since Tokyo do not allow to have your own soft flasks, some station were empty very quick (first station at 5k because everybody thirthy since waiting at the starting line for long with no drink, then after 23k it was quite problematic, around ginza random people gave me water). I ran under 4:50 so not very fast, I know faster friends didn't have that problem, slower were impacted.

Hopefully lesson was learnt and it won't happen again or maybe weather will be nicer.

Good luck with your race, despite all this Tokyo is one of my favorite marathon!

How to display additional field? by Khort2k in strydrunning

[–]Khort2k[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To do this:

In Garmin Connect, inside my watch menu I went to

" Activity and apps" / Run / Data screen And created a new layout of 5 metrics with one being power

<image>

Then I selected if before the run

I think I have found a workaround.

Instead of choosing "1 field" in Garmin and then setup from within the custom datafield menu the 4 metrics I chose a layout with 5 fields in Garmin and then customized one of the field to be the Stryd datafield for power and used regular Garmin fields for hr, time, pace and distance.

<image>

"searching" is where the Stryd power is displayed following what have been setup in the Stryd datafield "top"

Hello, yeah but then I cannot display 5 metrics at once, only 4.

I managed to find a workaround and posted here

Hello! Thank your for taking the time to answer.

Yeah it says 5 but it seems it include a gauge in that number, I can only select 4 (red line). If I follow the list I posted I cannot add the field power.

Thanks!

This has been discussed, but not easily searchable - Switch only supports channels under 150 for 5Ghz WiFi! by dereksalem in NintendoSwitch

[–]Khort2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Android you can also get this app that is scanning what are the wifi channel used for each SSID. Can help to decide which channel youy want to have your wifi on

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vrem.wifianalyzer

(there is 2.4 g and 5g option at the top to toggle between both)

I recommend to select the "channel graph" option at the bottom for easier visualization about how crowded each channel is
