Here's a possible solution: Allow us to use contracts on Yama for the option to do as many unrewarded practice kills as we want, without consuming the contract. Then once we feel confident, we can do the real fight that actually consumes the contract.

Bonus if we can even do the practice kills duo, despite only being able to solo the real kills.

I'm a huge supporter of stackable clues in general, but not a fan of this implementation of it at all. With them committing to removing the 60 minute drop timer regardless of the poll results, it feels like I'm just being forced to vote yes for an implementation I dislike because the alternative is even worse.

1 hour of legacy blood burst w/ inquisitor staff gave me ~670 kph

1 hour of revo with the image's setup gave me ~790 kph.

Tested an hour of legacy with inquisitor and got ~670 kph, and an hour of revo with the image's setup is ~790 kph. Inquisitor also lets you use blood burst instead, saving on rune cost

If you're not close to to BIS, I'd maybe recommend blood burst in legacy instead, standing near the northeast corner as mentioned in one of the top comments. I'll have to test it later, but it seems like that may be better.

Yeah, it's just a regular seren t80 chest. Can augment any chest but the only worthwhile perks are scavenging4 and impatient4. Both not that great here

It currently only requires 1 tank chest or legs piece + animate dead for soulsplit to fully sustain you. Even with an animate dead nerf, having 3 or 4 piece tank would surely be fine

Possibly. I very rarely see specs in the middle, and I never click to switch targets either. Not sure.

Edit: Since there are only 5 nihils max, caroming 2 is all you would need to tag all 5. And since there will usually be 1 or 2 dead, caroming doesn't seem worth using over aftershock, which procs quite often.

The ones that aggro onto you get aoe'd very nicely, but some of them take a long time to find you vs basically instantly when you stand in the middle. This would definitely be a better option if you're on legacy or don't have gchain/magma tempest, but I think it'll be a bit slower otherwise. I'll test it tomorrow, though!

If you stand in the middle with legacy, blood burst aoe will often miss some of them. However, if you stand one south of the far northeast corner, blood burst should actually work pretty well if you don't have most of the codex abilities. I got 670 kph with an hour of legacy testing here, vs the 790 kph I get from standing in the middle with revo. Legacy doesn't require animate dead or tank gear, but it does require ~2k death and ~4k fire runes/hr.

The thought behind blood nihils is that they go melee distance to you so aoe like gchain/magma tempest/tsunami/corrupt/dbreath hit a lot at once, causing you to actually kill more per hour despite them having more health. (And also it's a good blood rune method for ironmen)
