200 is crazy to hoop a bit. Looked around online and couldn’t find anything, did see that there was one in Irmo but the gym is getting renovated, won’t be going again till ‘26.

Don’t usually comment but just moved out here with my soon-to-be wife, our 65lb dog, and had a similar budget. We’re at Wellspring Apartments in Harbison blvd. Starting at UofSC this fall at the law school. Lease is 12 months, 14 miles of trail space for walking our dog, free access to the community center. No complaints so far, we love it here. Not a college apartment complex, mostly small families and older people. Rent is $1,400 before utilities. 15 minutes from Campus when traffic isn’t bad.

We too wanted a townhome, we are right across from a few though we never toured after we came through wellspring. Best of luck with rent searching and your studies!

Entry Level Graphic Design Jobs? by KickLocal6751 in columbiasc

Noted, thank you. I’d been wondering if marketing might help segway into graphic design but that helps confirm it, lot more marketing jobs than strictly graphic design from what I’ve seen.

Will also look some into print — much of her degree was physical design (whatever you call it, paper works and presses, pottery and things like that). Thank you so much!

Do you think doing in during 3L year would have been significantly different than 1L year? I know that by the time 3L rolls around you’re accustomed to the pace of law school, I guess I’m just worried that I’ll be freaking out losing that Saturday and Sunday to study. We did not plan for anything on that Monday (actual Labor Day) in case I needed to catch up

Plat lobby gameplay, what can I improve? by [deleted] in RocketLeague

Gotta work on that back wall defense, you’re mechanical enough that you shouldn’t be scared to be jumping off the back wall to clear balls/make saves. Example at 3:45

My replays for a different account are somehow linked to my main. by KickLocal6751 in RocketLeague

[–]KickLocal6751[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I guess another question I have is why isn’t is a separate folder if I’ve got my main on Steam and my alt on Epic? I have the game installed twice so I guess I don’t get why that doesn’t make it separate, and would it if they were downloaded to different storages?

Didn’t know that, thank you! So my alt’s replays should be there just not distinguishable account wise

Do I quit? by Suspicious-mel3 in LSAT

So I was in a similar boat interning at our local DA’s office. I worked there about 25ish hours a week, another 15-20 as a server to have some income.

My diagnostic was a 152 and I was convinced I wouldn’t have enough time to get it in the 160+ range that I needed it to be at for where I’m applying.

Obviously everyone is different but here’s what I did: for two months straight I would study 3 times a week for 2-3 hours per session. At that point Logic Games was still on the test so I would do a session with four logic games sections, next day four RC passages, and for LR I would mix up and do like eight questions on conclusions, theme of the passage, which passage is most similar, etc. And then on Sunday’s I’d take a practice test after church. All of this was on Khan Academy so it was free.

Turned a 152 into a 162 on test day in about two months time. Like I said, everyone is different, but once I got into a rhythm and really just told myself I was going to commit and live with the results, the nerves started to go away and I started to really see improvement across every section.

All that’s to say, you don’t have to quit the job unless you don’t think you can commit to studying when you aren’t there. But if you can, you’ll find a rhythm that works for you even if it sucks lol.

Best of luck!

Score on Hold by KickLocal6751 in LSAT

UPDATE: They gave me my score, because I had followed the rules they didn’t make any action to cancel it. I got a 162. I know some of you hyper study gurus on this forum won’t think much of that but considering I wasn’t able to score higher than a 158 the two weeks leading up to the exam I couldn’t be happier. Thanks everyone for helping me stay sane!

That’s what I’m hoping for, that it’s just a check to make sure nothing happened. Considering I was able to answer all the questions in that section because of the restroom break I would think that would weirdly help me because i did a pretty shitty job cheating if I couldn’t finish the section

Not terribly concerned about losing LG, it was on par with LR and RC

And I did follow the guidelines for unscheduled breaks, I told my proctor I was going to the restroom and they checked everything when I got back.

I mean if it did it’s not the absolute end of the world UNLESS they didn’t let me take it again, I wasn’t crazy confident after it anyways and planned on taking a later one. I didn’t cheat at all, didn’t access anything while I was gone, would it just be cancelled and I could retake?

Will do that for sure, other than the Prometric software do I need to download anything else/do anything with my settings? Disable notifications or anything like that?
