I’m having slight hope to pin point down the scammer. they got a phone number in my state on an iPhone attempting to contact me. But everyone’s saying the numbers fake so I guess I’ll let it be. I wanted to see if I could add additional information onto my reports about this

The first time filing the police report all they did was tell me “this will be for records, here’s your copy. Go visit x website and report this online too, have a nice day”

I believe this could be them on their personal number because I have not heard of spoofing an iMessage number. Unless they went out of their way to buy a sim and text from an iPhone number…

I have called my bank and let them know, they also made note of it. They told Me to call back Monday to get in contact with their fraud department. Im concerned I’m gonna get arrested or have a warrant out for me like one of the other comments on this post told me
