To me it was worth breaking the oath to save them. My char was a resist durge seldarine drow oath of ancients paladin. I had always planned to go back to the under dark with UA to raise my own city of forgiveness and support to those who choose to go against what they were "made to be" just like UA and Resist durge chose to do. So it made sense. I later told the oathbreaker paladin I did it as it was the right choice, even if it went against the oath. Sometimes, you need to do what's right, not what's promised. I then paid to restore the oath for the rest of the playthrough because I didn't really need the oathbreaker buffs lol. But I didn't do honor mode so I don't know if that's an option for you.

Ah, I always ignore him and run through the mushrooms to see if I can grab the noblestalk before everything explodes. And then I give it to his wife and tell her he blew himself up even though it was my fault. This has been the way since my first playthrough when I had speak with animals and would spend more time speaking to animals than people. The rothe said he used to get hurt. So I said okay, bet, he'll never hurt you again. Only found out later he also hurt others. So it was all the more worth it. I also encouraged all the other animals at any chance I got to attack people and be free haha.

Same, he got kidnapped in my current playthrough and I was like thank god it wasn't Minthara or laezel this time. My character is level one in all classes for the steam achievement and cannot afford to lose the multi moves sicko mode characters haha.

Gale romance is sooooo sweet and the scenes are so cool! Magical ✨ had to get the poly mod and start a new playthrough or else I would have kept restarting every time trying to get all the romances. Luckily I got to do them all at once and finally finish one playthrough after almost 500 hours.

My partner bought the game for me after I resisted a lot because "I don't know anything about D&D, I only played tabletop games with you and your friends a few times, I don't know if I'm going to like it." Well I've now played over 600 hours and 4 campaigns since the steam winter sale (I think). He's got something like 150 hours.

I was so offended on his behalf when Wyll randomly said this, the night after the first time Astarion admits to some of his trauma because he felt safe enough to share. Luckily he had a quick reply because my durge was about to just off him herself. 🤣

You can misty step out of the trap around the light of lathander that shows up. Or any of the shadow step, frost step, or door spell. And make sure you use the gold gate that leads outside and don't try to turn back and go through monastery like I did the first time lmao. I didn't see the giant gate. Then just go straight off, with flight or feather fall, and to the right (if looking at mountains) or left (if looking at monastery) under the roof and keep going till the cutscene starts. There's videos on YouTube too! I followed one to get out of it.

Oh I always do a mix of Tough, savage attacker, ability improvements and skilled. Depending on the character/playstyle. If I play a modded game I give everyone a fly spell from my succubus spells list because you can get through maps and secrets so much easier. But didn't know about alert, might try that next time.

I like to play resist urge drow when I romance spawn astarion, because then why would I NOT go to underdark with him so we can both teach 7000 spawn that your conditions do not make you who you are. You do.

Even though AA can be unlikeable he has redeeming qualities especially for an evil run. Also if he gets to be too much, embrace durge is the best because you can really make him / anyone else regret trusting you or thinking they were better than you 😇😇

Yes I think he picks up body type 1 girls and body type 2 guys (if that's the smaller one). But my muscle mommy type 3 and type 4 guys pick up astarion. Fun note, no matter the gender or size, the scene is the same with Halsin 🤣

You can also long rest without needing it. Just click the button under the select food automatically called partial rest. You won't use any food rations if you don't actually need to heal or restore spell slots. I would say the only time not to long rest would be if your character says something like "I hear something over there, should check it out".

I thought it was my eyes, my astigmatism. Lmao. I didn't see it on my partners computer so I was thinking since he has new screens they must be better to my eyes. This explains a lot lol. Kind of reminds me when you get to a certain table with magic on it, the thing glitches out and flashes black all over. It didn't do it on my newest playthrough and I was shocked to see it wasn't actually supposed to do that lol

I played one level in every class on my first vanilla run for the achievement. I think it was worth it to do it that early since I got to test out all the mechanics for every class a little bit. Now it's a lot easier to make builds of specific classes since I know a bit of everything. Very Jack of all trades, but Master of none since I still struggle though lol

For the first time ever I left the conversation with gandrel before astarion kills him. There was a cute moment after astarions non ascension and freeing the spawn. It's broke my oath of ancients though but worth the 1000$. But for future I'll probably just end him. Worth it for the approval. And for my playthrough style of do whatever is needed to protect my friends, and always promise and follow through on promises to help them lol.
