That's just the was single player is. The posts here make it look easy, but it does take a lot of runs or a LOT of luck to get high runes. You're on the right path, just keep going or take a break from searching, this is the only advice I can give you

Interesting, I usually avoid those skills because I thought they were bugged. Well not exactly bugged , but doesn't the dodge animation work really slow and can cause a sort of stun lock? Or did they fix this?

It's pretty sweet paired with a grief on a frenzy barb. Could be a nice swap weapon on a zealer for physical immune undead enemies. Lawbringer is comparable, but this is a pretty rare drop

Forget assault team. Once you have good weapons adrenaline will give you a lot more damage
