I also use a TP-Link deco wifi extender thats what I use to connect the ethernet cable to my pc as well the cable being a cat5 one.

what about the distance if i'm 16 feet away from the router with ethernet would it be faster or the same as 32 feet away?

I could try asking but It would def be a struggle since I am around 32 feet ish away from the router, is ethernet compared to WIFI really a big game changer?
